Privacy policy

This policy explains what EIG (Evolve International Group) collects when you use eig-careers.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers the public website, the English placement assessment, the learner dashboard and the affiliate and creator areas.

Information we collect

Account details you provide: name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Assessment data: your answers, recorded speaking responses, scores and the CEFR level issued on your certificate.
Order and payment records: package chosen, amount, payment plan, promo or affiliate code used, and the payment proof screenshot you upload.
Learning activity: which lessons, videos and PDFs you opened, quiz results and progress.
Technical data: device and browser type, approximate location derived from your connection, and session information used to enforce the one-device rule.

How we use your information

To create and secure your account and to enforce a single active session per learner.
To deliver the program you purchased, including protected videos, PDFs and slide decks.
To verify payments and prevent duplicate or reused payment screenshots.
To score your placement test and issue your certificate.
To send transactional email: confirmations, access notices, expiry reminders and password resets.
To calculate affiliate and creator commissions where you take part in those programs.

Marketing messages

Campaign emails are separate from transactional email and every campaign message includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages; it does not stop essential account or access notices.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the platform: our hosting and database provider, our object storage and content-delivery provider for protected media, our email delivery provider, and analytics. Each processes data on our instructions.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to investigate fraud, credential sharing or unauthorised redistribution of course content.

Retention

Account, order and certificate records are kept while your account exists and for as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling. Speaking recordings and payment screenshots are kept for verification purposes and can be deleted on request once the related order and certificate are settled.

Your choices

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details on the contact page. Deleting your account ends access to purchased content.

Request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account.
Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
Ask us to delete an uploaded screenshot or speaking recording once it is no longer needed for verification.

Children

EIG programs are intended for adults preparing for employment. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page. Material changes are announced by email to registered learners.
